Abstract

The purpose of the research was to assess the adaptability and reactions to environmental conditions of certain triticale genotypes in order to detect genotypes that have a smaller variation in production regardless of existing climatic conditions. The research was carried out at the Lovrin Agricultural Research and Development Station, which is located in northwest Banat at about 450 north latitude and 220 east longitude, at almost equal distances from the cities of Timisoara and Arad (45-50 km). The data presented in this paper refer to the behaviour of ten varieties of autumn triticale (Plai, Titan, Stil, Haiduc, Negoiu, Oda FD, Pisc, Tulnic, Utrirom, Utrifun) in three years (2017-2019) with different climatic conditions in terms of precipitation and temperature regime. Comparative culture was placed according to the triple grid method balanced in three repetitions without repeating the basic scheme with the harvestable plot of 5 m2 . The analysis of the productions obtained was carried out both from the perspective of the influence of each genotype and the interactions between the two factors (variety and year). At the same time, the analysis of the productions was carried out by comparing 10 varieties of triticale tested with the Plai control variety and interpreting the differences with it. As a result of environmental fluctuations, a significant variability of the yield was observed from one year to another.
